The Moving Arts Collective, Finding Rhythms and HMP La Moye launch the album ‘H.M.P (His Music Productions)’ at a listening party at the prison.

The album features original music written and recorded by the prisoners during a six-day workshop led by musicians Thabo Mkwananzi and Fred Harper from Finding Rhythms, and supported by Esther Rose Parkes from The Moving Arts Collective. The album's 12 tracks span diverse genres such as drill, rap, drum and bass, disco, rock, and acoustic, showcasing the creative talents of the participants and serving as a legacy for their experience.
We are proud to work in collaboration with HMP La Moye and UK-based music charity Finding Rhythms to celebrate the launch of the album. It marks a significant milestone in bringing creative musical opportunities to prisoners, showcasing the transformative power of artistic expression.
