I am an Iranian art producer, curator and writer. Since 2009 I have worked as an independent writer for art magazines and a curator with exhibitions in London such as Recalling the Future: Post-revolutionary Iranian Art, and Breakfast in Tehran: Representation of Women in Contemporary Iranian Art.
I worked as the Art Manager for Iran at the British Council for over 5 years, where I developed collaborative projects with artists and cultural institutions across the UK in music, theatre, literature, film, architecture and visual arts. These include Voicelessness at Edinburgh International Festival, The Book of Tehran: A City in Short Fiction (Comma Press), Underline a bilingual online and print magazine, touring composer Jem Finer’s Longplayer to 11 cities across Iran, film programmes such as Abbas Kiarostami Early Works and with BFI, Around the World in 17 Films: The Cinema of Childhood.
I was a political prisoner in Iran from 2018-2022 due to my role at the British Council and where I completed my MA philosophy dissertation on the Truth Content of Art and its Relation to Freedom.
I recently co-founded The Moving Arts Collective in Jersey where I am based.

I am a singer, songwriter, music artist and medicine singer, exploring the human experience through the lens of my female, bicultural, and queer identity. My work spans solo performances, band collaborations, and extensive projects with musicians across Sweden and the UK over the last 15 years.
Currently, I am an artist, producer, and curator for the three-year Lullaby Project—a socially engaged community music project that draws on my interest in ancient song forms and their roles within community settings. I am also part of the Vraiqu'sie artist research group on seaweed.
In addition to my artistic practice, I am an HCPC-registered music psychotherapist and community musician. My therapeutic and community work has focused on adult mental health, dementia, and special needs, and my current role is in an SEMH school setting. I have lectured on community music at Bath Spa University and presented at UK community music festivals on early years music.
Balancing my work as a music artist, medicine singer, music therapist, and community musician, I continue to create new work that is authentic to my vision, blending disciplines and exploring the boundaries between artistic expression, healing and community connection.
I am a co-founder of the Moving Arts Collective.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist working with installation, sculpture and performance with my current work exploring the relationship between art, activism and the environment. I have experience creating large scale site specific art installations, commissioned by National Trust and Jersey Heritage.
Over the last 14 years I have worked in the charitable arts and public sector in London and Jersey curating and producing exhibitions and projects with both artists, schools and the wider community. I worked extensively with arts charity Bow Arts in London curating and producing exhibitions both for the gallery and schools and as Gallery Director programming for the Nunnery Gallery. I also volunteered as a mentor for young people through Arts Emergency. In Jersey I worked with ArtHouse Jersey as a Community Producer strategically planning and delivering projects.
I have founded artist community spaces, turning my London studio into a collaborative project space. I also was a member of artist/activist study group ‘Artists Make Change’ during the pandemic.
